The course runs for 12 months with 2 intakes per year – in February and July each year.
How is the course taught? Life Coaching Coach Training Courses in Australia.
The course is online with 2 face-to-face intensives – one at the beginning of the course and the second one six months later. In addition there are bi-weekly, interactive teleconference classes.
A mix of theory and practical skills taught in an interactive way to cover the varying and different learning styles of everyone.
Notes and resources are available on the website to download and work with regularly.
The teleconference classes are held fortnightly on a Wednesday evening (from 6 to 7 or 7.30pm Perth time).
Additionally there will be other teleclasses as we bring different experts in their fields to come and share their wisdom with us. The teleclasses are an important part of the training and your accreditation, and also count towards your portfolio accreditation process for international credentialling with the International Coach Federation if you choose to go down that path.
Study buddies and practice groups are allocated for you to practice the new skills in a safe, supportive and nurturing environment.
You will receive 3 mini tutorials with groups of just three students as you practice coaching and mentoring. You will have 3 different mentors who will sit in on three of your practice sessions and give you great ideas of what you are doing well and how you can stretch yourself and improve even more.
The 2 x three day face-to-face intensives are at the commencement of each semester. This is an important (and highly FUN) part of the training. You get to meet the facilitators, the other students and immerse yourself in each part of the journey as well as practice mentoring and coaching right away and kick start your potential. Flights, food and accommodation are up to the student to provide but we provide the training and the venue plus snacks in between.
How will I be assessed? Life Coaching Coach Training Courses in Australia.
In line with the professional standards associated with being a nationally accredited course, there are assessments for each of the units you study. The assessment methods vary for each of the sections depending on the type of learning within that section – such as whether it’s more theory based or practical skills based. In a nutshell these are:
Practical skills assessments – you practice the skills and demonstrate them to your assessors in regular formal and informal ongoing sessions.
Written assessments – to be completed at the conclusion of each of the sections.
Ongoing short summaries and reports of practices and skills with a short essay of the overall learnings at the conclusion of the section.
Portfolio of your work – documents you will prepare and hand in at the conclusion of a section.
How many hours do I have to set aside each week to complete the course? Life Coaching Coach Training Courses in Australia.
We recommend about an hour to an hour-a-half per day would be perfect – that means around 12 hours per week which includes your coaching practice in your groups of three.

You can study from home or anywhere in the world as long as you have internet access – even while travelling. This means you can keep working or bringing up your family while you study.
The fortnightly calls can be accessed using either your computer or your phone, so you can dial in from anywhere where you have access to a phone or internet.
If, for some reason, you are unable to make one of the classes, the calls are recorded. You can purchase the recording for a small cost. The recordings are also a great resource for you to listen to the call over and over to really learn and integrate the material.

We have an interest free payment plan where you pay an initial investment of $1250 which covers the non-refundable enrolment fee plus Insight Foundation membership (total $365) and your first 3 months of tuition.
Then there are 9 further payments of $500 per month due on the 1st of each month. We use Ezi-debit, an accredited financial institution who will directly debit your account on the first of each month, as a secure method for protecting your fees.
